Have a stroll around Seaside. There's a Scroll to pick up in the library that will give Coro a Rain spell. There's some gear to save up for at the shop and you'll find Moryt who is eager to join your party.
You'll also find someone selling a crystal pendant at the inn. You can trade it for a Crystal Sword essentially by returning the pendant to the lady in Seaside who it was stolen from. The Bone Blade is better but this could help until you have enough for it.
After browsing Seaside you'll want to save for the Bone equipment. You'll find the enemies on this side of the cave tough so I go back into the cave and save up 3000 for equipment.
When you've got the best equipment, which is the Bone stuff, there's only a couple things left to do.
If you haven't already, get the milk from the farmer.
Now it's time to get the Fire scroll and save Eny.
