Mainly using less memory. Font sheet size is now an optional param to font_load, and the default was changed to 512 (512x512, about 1 MB) from 4096 (about 67 MB.) The "working" render target I had used in previous games was removed also, another 4K texture at a whopping ~130 MB with depth and stencil buffers I suppose. The games now run on a 256 MB system but the launcher needs 384 MB.
