I had like 4 Samsung's for the past 10 years. Just got a Google Pixel 9. Something different. It's really fast compared to my last phone which was an A54. My contract ran out so I got a new one.

The last phone I had, an A54, was pretty much a downgrade from a beat up S21... so this is the first upgrade I've had in a while...

It's not much different, only faster with a better camera and I like having only 1 app store I guess. It's definitely better than an A54. I don't use any of the fancy stuff because I have limited memory for stupid shit like that. Like "circle to google" I have no idea how to do that or use Gemini or anything... they should focus on fixing the bugs instead of adding stupid shit like that.

Once I upgraded to Android 15 my music player wouldn't skip songs properly.... facepalm.... then I googled free ones and found foobar2000 for Android, so far so good it's a good Windows app.

All the popups of tips and new features and stuff isn't great though... I'm already annoyed enough at this piece of shit that I don't need a popup tooltip over the button I want to click that takes me to another page when I try to close it
